Yesterday evening I was working on ‘Looking for Matthew’. The bound text-blocks are prepared to be cased in. I first glued Thai Mulberry paper on to the spine and then added tiny little headbands – I just love them! Sometimes I wonder who actually will see them once the book is done. How many people appreciate these little details? But then – does it really matter how many are looking at the details? As long as it is just one, it’s worth the time and effort to make this as beautiful as I can.
